Clicking Metronomes in Different Meters

	Clicking Metronome in Duple Meter Use this metronome for time signatures of 2/4, 2/2 (cut time), 2/8, and 6/8 (when played at faster tempos with the dotted quarter note equal to one beat).
	Clicking Metronome in Triple Meter Use this metronome for time signatures of 3/4, 3/2, 3/8 (with the eighth note equal one beat), and 9/8 (with the dotted quarter note equal to one beat).
	Clicking Metronome in Quadruple Meter Use this metronome for time signatures of 4/4, 4/8, 4/2, and 12/8 (with the dotted quarter note equal to one beat).

These metronomes are similar to the talking metronomes but they use click sounds instead of spoken words. They produce a high click sound on beat one of each measure and a low click sound on the other beats of the measure.

MetronomeBot’s Practice Tips:

Use the metronomes in different meters to make sure that you know where the downbeat is. Listen carefully for the high click that represents the downbeat. If you hear the high click and you are not on beat one, there is a rhythm problem. When in doubt, slow down!
