The elements of music in Lesson 6:

Sound: Pitches used in this lesson: A through A
Dynamics used in these pieces: forte and piano
Rhythm: Time signatures used in this lesson: two-four, three-four, four-four
Note values used in this lesson: quarter notes, quarter rests, half notes, half rests, dotted half notes, whole notes, and whole rests
Melody: phrases, breath marks

Up to this point, all of the notes you have played have used the fingers of your left hand. Now you will use some of your right hand fingers.

The two notes you will play in this lesson are B and A. We have to be very precise when we cover the tone holes with the right hand fingers because the holes are significantly larger than the left hand tone holes.

The pitch B uses all of the left hand fingers (like the pitch C) and the second finger of the right hand. The pitch A uses all of the left hand fingers and the first two fingers of the right hand.
