Helpful Suggestions Traveling on the Highway at Night combines several aspects of the last few lessons: four different dynamic levels, eighth notes, and slurs. Practice it slowly at first to make sure that you are playing it accurately. Sound: This piece has a range of low B up to A. You can find the fingerings here. It has four dynamic markings. Make sure to produce a clear contrast with each dynamic change. Rhythm: Your time signature is four-four time, which means that there are four beats in a measure and the quarter note is equal to one beat. Playing along with the Talking MetronomeBot in quadruple meter will help you maintain a steady tempo and accurate rhythms. Melody: This piece consists of 4, four-measure phrases. Each phrase is slurred from beginning to end.
