There two ways to use MetronomeBot: through the Flash player on your internet browser, or through MP3 files which you can load on your iPod or any other MP3 player. MetronomeBot is unlike most other Flash player metronomes because it does not use Flash to create the sounds or the tempos. In theory, Flash should be able to create a steady click that would be sufficient for a metronome. However, many Flash based metronomes are not steady and produce a fluctuating beat. MetronomeBot is essentially an advanced MP3 and loop player. The clicks and words that you hear from it were all created using Digital Performer by MOTU. Other software involved in creating the sounds includes Battery 3 and Vokator by Native Instruments, Guru by FXPansion, MX4 by MOTU, as well as several audio effects. Each click track or voice track was recorded and converted to an MP3 file to be uploaded by MetronomeBot. The positive results of this process include the following: MetronomeBot also offers the convenience of MP3 files which can be uploaded to your iPod or MP3 players. The files are priced very affordably and can be looped on your player so that you can play endlessly at a steady tempo. The visual design of MetronomeBot was created using Cinema 4D by Maxon. It is a very powerful 3D design program that can be used to create entire worlds. MetronomeBot wants everyone to develop a good sense of rhythm and tempo and will work endlessly to help people in that regard. He likes all kinds of music and enjoys going to museums and concerts. Right now, his favorite painter is Piet Mondrian. Follow MetronomeBot on Twitter.
