MetronomeBot has moved to his new home at www.MetronomeBot.com Educational Tools > MetronomeBot Home Subdividing Metronomes MetronomeBot’s Practice Tips:The subdividing metronomes are used for practicing rhythms that include note values that are shorter than one beat. When you are in a simple meter like 2/4, 3/4, or 4/4 use the duple subdivision metronome for eighth notes; use the triple subdivision metronome for triplets; and use the quadruple subdivision metronome for sixteenth notes. Stay with the metronome’s beat. Make sure that you can hear the beat clearly and play with it. If you are having trouble focusing on the beat and what you are practicing, play it at a slower tempo.
