Flopsy the Whimsical Clown's Pitch Name Games
Music Flash Cards by Kyle Coughlin
SkyLeap Music Home > Educational Tools > Clarinet Space
Good musicians respond to the notes on the page with lightning fast reflexes. When you read music, your brain processes the pitch and duration of each note, and it tells the rest of your body what to do to play the notes accurately.
The music flash cards on these pages will help you learn the names of the notes and improve your music reading skills. These flash cards are specifically designed for clarinet students, and they focus on note groupings that we frequently encounter.
Follow the links below to play Flopsy the Whimsical Clown's Pitch Name Games. You can use them to focus on a new group of notes that you are learning. You can also use them as a review. It is not necessary to play every single game here, but if you do, you will know the names of all clarinet notes and you will improve your sight reading skills as well.
Be sure to play to the end of each game to see Flopsy dance! Also, some of the games have special prizes at the end, like Flopsy's Custom Button Accordion.
